The school workshop made statuettes based on sculptor Josef Mařatka’s 1909 design. The school supplied art ceramics to the Artěl shop in Prague; Mařatka’s statuettes were also created for the International Exhibition of Modern Decorative and Industrial Arts in Paris in 1925. “Wave” was purchased for the museum from Artěl in 1924.
